Support Night in Paris

Eliav Geissmann, Managing Director of Negba, exchanged for 24 hours his IDF uniform for his costume as head of our Association in order to assume a no less sacred mission in Paris where a support dinner for the benefit of children and adolescents of Negba was taking place.

During this event, Eliav shared some of his views as a soldier and director of Negba regarding the impact of the war in Israel, the unity of Israeli civil society and the magnificent mutual aid among the population in favor of soldiers and people evacuated from their homes, and of course commented on the work carried out with the children during this difficult period.

After being introduced by Pascal Grin, President of Negba, this evening superbly organized by the Friends of Negba Paris was fascinating thanks to the various lectures given by Sylvie Chokron (neuropsychologist), Sylvie Tordjman (child psychiatrist) and Frédéric Encel (geopolitologist).

Around 160 people were present and had an exciting and friendly time, hosted by Charly Touati who knew with great professionalism how to mix emotion and good humor, arouse, and praise the generosity of Negba’s friends. Hanna Geissmann, who was Managing Director of Negba for many years, was also present, which led to a great reunion!

Thanks to your support, this particularly successful evening was also a superb demonstration of solidarity with the children and families of southern Israel.
