Closing evening of the “Dror Lah’ioukh” project (Dror for a smile)

“A smile costs nothing, but it is worth a lot.”

We are delighted and proud to have, this year again, transmitted smiles through the theatrical project “Dror for a smile”, named after the young Dror Smadja who was a wonderful and captivating child, and who illuminated his environment with his smile, but who died prematurely at the age of 7.

After a year of theater classes during which the children of Negba received a set of tools including the ability to express themselves and connect to emotions, self-confidence and open-mindedness, the diplomas handover ceremony took place in mid-June at the “Theatre Arts Center” in Beer-Sheva, where we had the privilege of seeing the children perform on stage, with great talent, in a spectacular play! The magic of the stage was not lost on any of the children and those present who experienced a powerful and moving evening.

We would like to thank from the bottom of our hearts, first of all, Ifat Smadja, Dror’s mother, who has made it her goal to transmit, through this project, all this goodness.

And of course, all our dear partners who joined and paved the way for this important project: the education and culture municipal services, the “Israel Chemicals Company”, the Maguev-Goodman theater school, the theater of Beer-Sheva and the talented director Roy Gour.

Congratulations and thank you to everyone who was personally involved in this exciting project for the development and empowerment of children.
