Free Learning sheets for everyone

Since the creation of Negba, helping children academically has been at the heart of our concerns and the objectives of the founders of the association. In addition to permanent contact with teachers, there are numerous means put in place: computer learning, homework help, remedial lessons by professionals, etc.

For years, we have also developed our own learning sheets to delve deeper into certain specific subjects in Hebrew, Mathematics and English with the children.

These sheets are also made available to everyone, free of charge, on our website to help as many children as possible throughout Israel. This is how the Negba website has become an essential source of educational material for many teachers across the country. “Every month, more than 18,000 different visitors download sheets,” confirms Ary Brami, Operational Director of Negba, “the vast majority of them are teachers who distribute them to their students. We also see peaks in activity during periods of crisis, war, Covid, when children are confined at home and must continue to study remotely.”

Joey Salomon, Educational Director of Negba and teacher for more than 20 years in different schools, goes further: “There is not a single primary school in Israel where Negba sheets are not distributed.”

This initiative gained new momentum during the year 2023, when David Kadouch, member of the Negba Steering Committee and son of Claude Kadouch (za”l), one of the founders of the association, took charge of the development of new learning sheets. “My father and I have always firmly maintained that learning should be free and accessible to all. The provision on our site of Negba educational sheets, developed by professionals is completely in line with this ideal.”

Indeed,  new sheets are developed entirely by a team of teaching professionals belonging to the Avina association headed by Alfred Errera*, former collaborator of Claude Kadouch (za”l): “When David and the Negba association called on us, we were immediately won over by the project. We put our years of experience in the field to the development of these new sheets and a complete learning program.”

The first phase of this project is under development and several new sheets are added each week in Mathematics, Hebrew, and English for classes from the 1st to the 6th grades. In total, in 2024, several hundred sheets will be made available to help as many children as possible.
