Since the start of the war, Negba staff have been concerned with keeping in touch by telephone or by zoom, and speaking with our children, individually or in groups, in order to provide moral support, accompaniment and the maintenance of a “daily routine” which includes personal activities, enrichment activities, social activities within groups and, of course, educational activities.
Thus, Negba makes available free of charge to children, parents and educators throughout Israel, the download of exercise sheets for Hebrew, Maths and English, intended for pupils from 1st to 6th grade, as well as educational sheets in science, art, cooking, et al.
At the same time, we are accelerating the creation of new exercise sheets and educational sheets, in memory of one of the founders of Negba, Claude Kadouch (z’al), in order to be able to offer greater diversity to children.
Our ambition is that all this material can serve and help as many children as possible throughout the country.
In two weeks, visits to the Israeli Negba site more than doubled thanks to downloads of these sheets. We actually went from 4,245 visits the week before the war to 11,944 visits last week.
