The support evening held in Paris on December 4th was a resounding success. Bringing together Negba’s extended Parisian family at the Town Hall of the 16th arrondissement, the event became a vibrant celebration of solidarity and commitment to the children and adolescents supported by the association.
With the esteemed presence of Mr. Jérémy Redler, Mayor of the 16th arrondissement, and Mrs. Judith Oks, President of Keren Hayessod France, approximately 180 participants gathered to learn about Negba’s impact on the childrens lives. Pascal Grin and Eliav Geissmann delivered moving speeches, sharing an eloquent assessment of the past year, one marked by both significant challenges and meaningful achievements. A poignant film featuring testimonials from the children of Negba further deepened the emotional connection of the audience.
A highlight of the evening was the concert by Jean-Luc Giorno, who enchanted guests with his renditions of Georges Brassens’ songs, adding a touch of nostalgia and cultural depth to the gathering.
The guests’ heartfelt testimonials underscored the profound impact of Negba’s mission. One attendee shared: “Negba is an association that I discovered, thanks to exceptional individuals who transform the lives of many children. Supporting them, in any capacity, is truly an honor.”
The evening concluded with a warm and convivial buffet, fostering further exchanges and a sense of community among attendees.
We extend our deepest gratitude to the Friends of Negba Paris and to everyone who contributed to the success of this unforgettable event. Your collective commitment strengthens our efforts to support children and families in need in Israel.
