In the weeks leading up to the start of the school year, Negba holds extensive training and preparation sessions aimed at equipping the staff with additional tools for the new year. The training program includes workshops on various topics such as managing resistance, developing communication skills with children and youth, instruction on the enrichment programs that will be taught throughout the year, managing individual time with the children, and first aid training.
Additionally, group meetings are held to develop personal connections between new and veteran staff members and to strengthen teamwork.
During the preparation days, the staff visits the homes of the children and starts building programs for the coming year, with the goal of starting the year in an optimal and professional manner. This is so that every child and adolescent can enjoy meaningful, empowering, enriching, and constructive experiences every day at Negba!
We concluded the preparation days with a team-building activity for Negba’s staff in Be’er Sheva and Jerusalem together, leaving us united as a strong, motivated group filled with love, ready to welcome Negba’s outstanding children and youth!
Negba’s team wishes all our children and all the pupils in Israel a year of peace and security, a year of health, a year in which we will overcome every challenge and celebrate every success. A year of gratitude, and most importantly – a year of togetherness.
