Two incredible days with the young people from the “BBB – Bac Bleu-Blanc” (Blue-White Baccalaureate) program

We spent two incredible days with the young people from the “BBB – Bac Bleu-Blanc” (Blue-White Baccalaureate) program. This project, initiated by “L’Expérience Israélienne” and the Jewish Agency, aims at introducing Israel and its study programs to young people in 12th grade (preparing the Baccalaureate) in Jewish schools in France.

Young people from the “Mikvé Israël” High School and the “Georges Leven” High School came to Negba Beer-Sheva to get to know the children. This afternoon was filled with new experiences and warm and exciting moments for them, for us and especially for the children!

The young people provided a good atmosphere, games, attention and unusual entertainment for our children who wait for and enjoy the visits so much.

A Negba facilitator said after their departure: “It’s incredible to see what the visits of BBB young people bring to the children, and how it contributes to their development! It really boosts their self-confidence (even the shy ones) and they suddenly feel comfortable talking to or playing with new people. It is not easy for many of them and yet these visits really helped them to open up and brought a lot of joy to the groups. Moreover, at the end of these two days, the children talked about their ability to successfully communicate with young French people even if they did not speak the same language!
