A nice story

As part of the preparation days, we met Yarin, who is one of Negba’s first children. Indeed, Yarin arrived in Negba in 2007, a CP (1st grade) student, then stayed there for many years.

After passing her baccalaureate, Yarin enlisted in the IDF with the desire to do meaningful military service. After her two years of mandatory service, she decided to continue as a career soldier for a few years. Today, a senior staff sergeant, Yarin is part of the Air Force’s helicopter technical team. She plans to start her university studies afterwards.

Yarin came especially to tell us about her experience as a child and teenager in Negba, the path she has traveled, and the adult she has become, about her close relationship with her educators in Negba.

Everyone was very moved to listen to Yarin recount all this, with ease, nostalgia and gratitude. Yarin is undoubtedly a model and a source of pride for Negba!

We learn a lot from each former student who returns to Negba. Listen to their experience, understand the path they went through in their childhood, perceive the quality of the role that Negba played for them…

These testimonials are very valuable lessons for the new Negba teams, and allow them to measure the impact of our action in order to better support the new generations of children in their care.
