We still are very excited!
15 of our children, boys and girls, have prepared, studied, and deepened their knowledge for their Bat and Bar Mitzvahs.
They found themselves on the one hand around halachic studies and on the other hand in workshops bringing together mothers and daughters or fathers and sons. Indeed, within this program, the youngsters followed both a personal and a family journey, aimed at strengthening and encouraging communication.
Then, it was the ceremony itself, during which the boys and girls celebrated this passage from childhood to adolescence with their families, friends, educators and distinguished guests.
Sandra, mother of one of the Bnot Mitzvahs: “Preparing for this event has brought us all a lot and, beyond the emotion, will have taught both my daughter and me to understand each other better. This will mark our relationship”.
Yarden, Bat Mitzvah: “I want to thank Negba and everyone who helped and contributed to this event. Since I was little I tried to imagine what my Bat Mitzvah would be like, but I never dreamed it would be so big, beautiful and joyful! The reality was beyond what I had always imagined.”
Thank you to the Wizo Beer-Sheva Women’s Organization and the team who guided, accompanied, prepared the young people and families, collected donations and took care of every detail: dresses and white headdresses for the girls, costumes and tefillins for the boys, but also videos, printing of souvenir albums, reception room and meals.
We would like to pay a sincere tribute to the many friends who gave their money, their time and their talent to make this event a real success.
