The entire Negba family mourns the loss of Negba Co-Founder Claude Kadouch, who was laid to rest on Friday, January 4, 2019 in Jerusalem at the age of 87.  Claude moved to Israel in 1980 from France, and in 2006 co-founded Negba with Claude Meyer (z”l) and Jean Bisseliches.  For years, the two “Claudes” came each week to Beersheva and were very close with Negba’s children and staff.  They were greatly appreciated for their kindness, their willingness to listen, and for their interest in others.  The two “Claudes” greatly complemented each other in advancing the organization. While Claude Kadouch helped to manage and direct Negba in the field, Claude Meyer focused on fundraising and donor cultivation.

A retired economist, Claude Kadouch was the Founder and Chairman of Lambda Educational Technologies and worked in the fields of Jewish education and in the media.  For years the innovative “Heshbon 10” adaptive math technology computer program which Claude designed was used across Negba, as well as by nearly 250,000 students in Israel’s primary schools.

It is with great emotion and sadness that Negba extends its deepest sympathies to the entire Kadouch family.
