Negba operates after-school Houses of Hope for children at-risk ages 6-12, and a Teen Club of Hope for youth ages 13-15. These frameworks serve as daily havens for these vulnerable youngsters where they are nurtured in a warm family environment, fed a nutritious hot meal, receive individualized academic tutoring and participate in structured social activities. Through its programs, Negba aims to equip Israel's children at-risk with the tools for a successful future, a future that will also enable them to contribute positively to society.

Negba also runs a summer camp and operates its Hope Foundation which provides emergency assistance to participating children's families.

Both the Houses of Hope and the Teen Club of Hope programs contain the following central goals:

  • To provide children at-risk with an after-school sanctuary.
  • To facilitate the academic success of Israel's children at-risk.
  • To foster healthy social and psychological growth of Israel's children at-risk.
  • To engage parents as partners in the care of their children at-risk.
  • To intervene as early as possible in the care of children at-risk and to accompany them to the onset of adulthood, be it army or national service, university study or employment.

Negba also operates its innovative Negba Hadracha Training Initiative for the management and staff of welfare boarding schools in Israel. The initiative offers professional training, team building, education and guidance, evaluation and assessment over time to upgrade the professional capability of some of Israel's harshest boarding schools and enable staff teams to better assist the youth at-risk in their care.
